Hebrew Spam?

Mr. Muskrat on 2007-11-02T01:16:47

I have a message in my inbox from someone named "Hellie" (from a .il address). The subject and all content is in Hebrew. Since I can't read it I don't know for sure that it is spam.

I Can Read Hebrew

Thank you very much!

Treat it like spam

If someone sends me something in a language I can't read then it's pretty obvious that they don't know me and that they're neither a legitimate business nor the sort of user of my software that I want to spend time on. So even if it's not spam (it might not satisfy the Bulk criterion even if it satisfies the Unsolicited criterion) you can still *treat* it as spam. It makes no difference to *you* whether the email you send me in Hebrew or Russian goes into my inbox or into the bit bucket cos you're not going to get a sensible response anyway. And I am obviously better off never seeing anything in weird alien tongues cos even just hitting delete is a waste of my time. So into the spam filters it goes.
